    1. When I read a first attempt by an author, even when it s been recommended by a friend, I m very cautious Usually, the book is riddled with spelling errors, incomplete sentences, missing words in sentences, multiple grammar errors and homonym usage that drives a Reader CRAZY None of that happened here Well, almost none A couple of words were mispelled That s it And at the end of the book, the author actually solicited information so he could correct future editions, wow TOTAL SPOILERS DON T READ [...]

    2. Not great, but not bad either for a first effort by the author. As this is the first book in a series, a majority of the book was back story for the main characters And as most of the characters are former military operators, SEAL, Marines, Army Rangers, and a medical corpsman, there is enough action in the characters history to keep the reader interested As Cooper is a former marine, the stories probably have a lot of actual incidents behind them As with any story where it is indicated in the ti [...]

    3. Back to War was very thrilling and full of action The storyline was intriguing The emotional side of this book s premise was quite intense Before reading this book, I had read a review by a man that stated it was definitely a man s story But i have to disagree Even though the book is primarily male dominant, I still found it very diverse I grew up with family in the military, all branches, and now my kids are part of the military family So I do understand the honor and pride that comes from serv [...]

    4. Awesome and fat readThe characters and plot line are very riveting Read it on an outbound cross country flight Will rasse the next in the series on the return.

    5. I want to begin by saying I am glad I m a member of i Love eBooks ARC If it hadn t been for them, I would never have found C.G.Cooper or his books I normally don t read modern themed books unless they reparanormal but since I d joined the ARC I find myself reading all kinds of books I normally wouldn t.Even as I dislike military and modern novels, I promise my review is non discriminitory, and very honest.I love the format of this book I m a huge fan of screenplays and absolutely enjoyed the mov [...]

    6. Mr Cooper has a genuine out of the ballpark home run with this series He joins the ranks of Clancy, Thor, and Flynn developing a believable protagonist who grows and matures during the course of these three books He shows the heart and soul of our military and the bond that all Warriors understand He skillfully lays the groundwork in each of the three books, taking us on a twisting, but very rewarding journey, where we can cheer the hero, and hope that right will prevail Good guys are not always [...]

    7. Back to War Corps Justice 1 Another great C.G Cooper novel and another great series about our men and women who have served in the military and are still serving in civilian life Meet Cal Stokes, Marine veteran, injured in combat, but not sure what comes next His deceased father s company offers him sanctuary while recovering from an attack that killed the love of his life, Jessica, and almost him as well Hell bent on revenge for Dante West, the man responsible for his lose, Cal and friends acti [...]

    8. I read and enjoyed Adrift, so I didn t hesitate to add Corps Justice books 1 3 to my reading queue And it wasn t long before I reached for them.Cooper does a great job of creating characters, action and a story line that you don t want to put down I find myself reading until my eyes won t focus when I should be sleeping.I tried not to read all three at once, but it is so hard to put them down. The good news is I just added another C.G Cooper book to my read queue. Thanks for a great read, C.G.

    9. DNF at 5% when I realised that all dialogue was going to be written in script form CAL Call me Cal I left that Marine stuff behind What do I call you BRIAN My name is Brian Ramirez Or you can call me nurse manL You said you were in Iraq Who were you with I can read a script, or I can read a novel, but the combination doesn t work for me I was jolted out of the story every time there was some dialogue.

    10. Found by accidentLiterally stumbled across this book while looking for something new to read and I was pleasantly surprised The story reads very well not clogged with characters that contribute little to nothing to the story, just enough to give background and keep the story moving along Very ready read with a nice piece that keeps the pages turning Ready to read the next in the series Nice job

    11. Great seriesReally enjoyed the entire series All of the books are as good as the first Look toward to reading .

    12. GoodReal good read If you enjoyed the Mitch Rapp books then I think you will enjoy this book a very good thriller action read

    13. Good bookRead this book Then the next one Read in order to fully enjoy Characters are realistic and Interesting believable Great book

    14. Good characters, Non stop action that makes you want not to be interrupted I finished it in a day, and immediately started on book 2 I also have 3 and 4 teed up ready The series name Corps Justice refers to the Marine Corps ethos that has been carried over into a security organisation set up by a retired Marine Colonel The central character is Cal, the Colonel s son, another marine used to fighting against the odds a hero, but by no means invulnerable or infallible It s interesting to see his ch [...]

    15. Former Marine Staff Sergeant Cal Stokes has returned to the United States from War He and His fianc are on their way to dinner, when a gang initiation goes wrong and plunges him into a war here in the U.S He loses his fianc , kills several gang members, blinds one, and wounds the head of the gang Cal wakes up in the Hospital with a former Navy Corpsman as his Nurse This book takes off from there and does not slow Down This is all I am going to tell you This book is A Good Read If you read it you [...]

    16. Its a good book for those who like reading action pack story lines about Marines What I especially liked about Coopers s storytelling is when each critical character s background is described with a flashback excerpt , the whole sequence is described in incidents with active conversations among characters Not seen this style of writing till now which makes it a refreshing read Although the climax could have been done better, all in all it was satisfactory.

    17. I was pleasantly surprised by this book I honestly didn t think I would like it as much as I did The writing style was different, written almost like a screenplay instead of a novel After I got used to that it didn t bother me The back stories of the characters were interesting, the general plot was entertaining, and overall the story was suspenseful and worth the read Marked down for some bad editing, but Like I said, I was pleasantly surprised.

    18. Good wow it ll hold your attentionGood is a relative term I think it s an amazing story Kept me enthralled with the story and the characters Kept my emotions invested the story I d find myself happy and then find myself crying for the characters and their situation NO plot spoilers here

    19. Starts out great as do all the Corps Justice Books doThese are some of my very favorite series The stories are great, the dialogue, the camaraderie of the operatives just awesome Love reading and am now rereading all the books in this series Cal and MSgt Trent and Travis and all the rest of the operators in SSI Such a good reading experience Thanks, Amarillo Turtle

    20. Enjoyed reading this book I ve found my next series, Excellent main character with integrity Good read for fans of military and black ops fiction I enjoyed the fair treatment of military from all branches and numerous wars The true heroes are humble this book was a good reminder

    21. Back to war Terrific Boy, it is hard to work when a book is this good Hard to go to sleep in time I wanted to make certain Cal made it out alive Battered is better than dead Lots of battering goes on here and the nasty guys finally got their due

    22. Cooper hooked me with Back to War , the first of his books I have read Great character development, excellent plots, riveting read from start to finish I read the whole book in one sitting I ll be reading all of Cooper s books I can get my hands on.

    23. Astral page turnerGood story line with likeable characters Only drawback is that they all sound like boy scouts too perfect Also long backstory for each one Hope that will not be repeated in subsequent books On to breed book 2

    24. I could ve finished it within the night but the book s narrative was so bad Horrible story Every single good character is a super soldier in the book The only villain is a normal street thug Worst book I ve read to date

    25. Enjoyed the story but found the way speech was handled to be distracting That being said, I enjoyed the story enough to read book 2, and in the second and following books, the regular use of quotation marks was used.

    26. I liked the story It was obviously a set up for a series The only reason that I gave it 3 stars was the strange screenplay dialogue I peeked at book 2 and was relieved to find that the dialogue had normal quotation marks That was my cue to read the second in the series.

    27. Very well written The book was written in the drama type, for each character, it was written as dialogues. The plot was good, and only the climax could ve explained well, it just like that finished too soon.

    28. Awesome I definitely give this five stars This is the second time reading this book, and I enjoyed it just as much this time as did the first time Love all the characters and their stories.

    29. Not impressed with writing style I understand this was first book in series Author sacrificed plot and storytelling with character introductions Obviously, the characters are meant to be part of many sequel novels Quick read.

    30. Good read Nicely pace holds attention well not a lot of views violence or sex will read additional books By the author
